Operating principle

X-Ray Fill-Level Measurement

ALPHA FH-X measures fill height using x-ray attenuation. When the x-ray beam passes through product, the detector pulse rate drops; if the bottle is underfilled, less product is present at the measuring point, so the pulse rate changes measurably. The system uses this difference to identify fill levels outside the defined range and trigger rejection.
